As visitors of the island, we love to indulge in the delightful tastes of the surrounding restaurants. We marvel at the meals created for us, but our conversation ends with the last bite on our plate. We see a place that promotes recycling and we think to ourselves, ‘That’s awesome that they are recycling!’ but wouldn’t it be nice to reward this kind of behaviour? On their way home from school we meet a child and they discuss the lessons they were taught- we learn that their education implements good behaviours on top of the standard curriculum. Behaviours benefitting the culture, environment, and overall vibe of Koh Samui deserve to be rewarded – the Content Castle wants to honour these businesses by enlightening the public as to their positive practices.
How we are planning on giving back to the Koh Samui community?
At the Content Castle, we want to place a big focus on giving back to the Koh Samui community. As such, we will donate 1,000 words a week to a business that encourages the growth of a positive, community- and sustainability-building projects on Koh Samui.

It doesn’t stop there
It is important to us that the 1,000 words gain a significant amount of views – as such, we will publish the articles on our Content Castle platforms. We have an extensive reach across Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Our hope is that our charitable program will encourage and help local businesses with positive practices to triumph, and continue to impact both Samui, and Thailand as a whole.
“Koh Samui is filled with boutique hotels, restaurants, and schools – many of which deserve recognition for the positive effect they have on the culture of Samui.”
How will this work for the residents of the Castle?
Each week one resident of the Castle will lend their time to discovering a business,
Overlooking the lovely backdrop from one of the Castle’s many balconies.
“Our hope is that our charitable program will encourage and help local businesses with positive practices to triumph, and continue to impact both Samui, and Thailand as a whole.”
We are passionate about giving back to the island that gave us a beautiful Castle, a stunning location, and a chance to bask in our dream. Many of Samui’s businesses deserve acknowledgment and we hope our gift of words will help the local community prosper!
